Cancellation and Refund Policy

Updated October 29, 2026 · The Outfitter Review Corp

Which terms apply

This policy covers Trips and outdoor Services booked through The Outfitter Review Corp. Customer cancellation depends on the cancellation terms accepted for the particular booking and applicable law. Keep the confirmation and agreed terms. A later edit to a listing does not replace the cancellation terms accepted at purchase. Any deposit and its cancellation treatment must be disclosed and accepted for the particular booking.

If you need to cancel

Open the affected booking and use Cancellation options where available. Check the booking reference, dates, reason, and any refund estimate before confirming. If that control is unavailable, email theoutfitterreview@gmail.com with your booking reference and requested cancellation. Support must review missing, ambiguous, or custom policies and shared charges; a missing estimate does not mean you are entitled to no refund. A refund estimate is not confirmation that payment has been returned.

If the provider cancels

When the provider cancels or cannot supply the agreed booking, you are entitled to the full amount paid for the affected booking, including applicable platform fees and taxes, less any amount already refunded. The provider’s customer cancellation window does not reduce that refund. You may agree to another date, but are not required to accept it instead. A provider must not ask you to identify its cancellation as a customer cancellation to avoid this rule. Report provider no-shows or unavailable services to support.

Rescheduling

Keep date-change proposals and acceptance in the booking conversation or other written confirmation. A proposal alone does not change the reservation. Both parties must agree to new dates, and any different price or cancellation terms must be disclosed and accepted before the change. Do not assume a calendar import alone changes the booking or that a listing has capacity for the new dates.

Weather emergencies and safety

Do not continue an unsafe or unlawful activity. Contact the provider and support promptly. Resolution depends on the agreed booking terms, what can be provided, the reason for the disruption, and applicable law. There is no blanket rule that all weather cancellations are either refundable or nonrefundable. The provider-cancellation rule applies when the provider cancels the booking.

No shows and late arrivals

Contact the other party as soon as possible if you will be late. Customer no-show treatment follows the accepted booking terms and applicable law. Any customer no-show cutoff or charge must be disclosed in the accepted booking terms. A provider no-show should be reported as a provider issue, not silently recorded as a customer cancellation.

Refund processing

Cancellation, refund review, approval, processor submission, and bank settlement are separate stages. We reconcile the affected booking amount, prior refunds, taxes, fees, and any shared order charges before processing the refund. Other bookings on the same order are not automatically cancelled. Ask support for the refund status and reference if needed. Bank timing varies, so no fixed arrival date is promised. A full booking refund does not itself promise reimbursement for separately purchased travel, lodging, or other expenses; applicable legal rights remain unaffected.

Problems during or after an experience

Report an issue promptly in the linked conversation and use Disputes where available. In the completion workflow, the confirmation window runs for 48 hours after the scheduled end. An open dispute prevents automatic completion under that workflow. Contact support if a control is unavailable or the window has passed. The window does not waive statutory or payment-provider rights, and you should not confirm satisfactory completion while an unresolved issue remains.

Merchandise and policy updates

Gear returns and shipping are governed by the merchandise terms disclosed for the order, not this Trip and Service cancellation policy. Updated October 29, 2026. This update does not retroactively impose charges or reduce rights accepted for an earlier booking. For assistance, contact theoutfitterreview@gmail.com.
