Who we are and how to contact us
The Outfitter Review Corp operates The Outfitter Review. This notice describes information handled through our marketplace, accounts, bookings, reviews, messages, and support. For privacy questions or requests, email theoutfitterreview@gmail.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. Do not include passwords, full card numbers, or banking credentials. Information you provide
We process information you enter when you create or edit an account, create listings, request or manage a booking, order merchandise, message another participant, submit a review, or contact support. This can include your name, contact information, profile and business details, listing descriptions and photos, locations and availability, party details, order and transaction references, messages, reviews, and information you choose to provide about an issue.
Technical information and cookies
Operating the website involves technical information such as IP addresses, browser and device information, pages requested, and security or error logs. Cookies and similar storage support login, account sessions, cart functions, and site preferences. Third-party resources and features can also receive technical information when loaded. You can manage cookies through your browser, although disabling necessary cookies can prevent login, checkout, or other features from working.
Why information is used
Information is used to operate accounts and listings, coordinate bookings and agreed changes, administer orders and payments, deliver service communications, provide support, handle disputes and reviews, protect against fraud and misuse, troubleshoot the website, and maintain records needed for business and legal obligations. Optional marketing communications should be managed through their unsubscribe or preference options; contact support if an option is missing. A booking message is different from a promotional subscription.
Public and shared information
Published listing and profile content and published reviews can be viewed by visitors. Booking and contact details needed to arrange the experience are shared with the relevant customer and provider. Staff may access account, booking, transaction, message, and dispute information for administration, support, safety, and issue resolution. Avoid including information in public content that you do not want visitors to see. A message between participants is not a public review, but should not be treated as a place to send passwords or financial credentials.
Service providers and external features
The website uses service providers for functions such as hosting, payment processing, email, messaging, and technical delivery. They receive information needed for the relevant function. Stripe payment components and services are used in the payment setup; payment information entered into provider-controlled payment forms is processed by that provider. The marketplace also retains order records and may retain payment references or saved-payment identifiers. If you choose an external sign-in option or open embedded or linked third-party content, that provider’s own privacy practices also apply. Links to social networks do not mean you must use those networks to contact us.
Payments and provider banking information
Payment and payout services may require billing, identity, or banking information. Use the designated account or processor setup flow rather than sending these details in a booking message. Payment records can include transaction identifiers, amounts, status, and limited payment-method information needed to manage an order. A saved payment method is not the same as a provider payout account. Contact support for help locating the appropriate settings; never send a password to support.
Calendar information
Where calendar downloads or email attachments are available, importing them places booking details in the calendar service you choose. Sharing that calendar may expose those details to people with access to it. Review the event and your calendar-sharing settings. Imported events do not necessarily stay synchronized with later booking changes; the booking record remains the reference for the agreed schedule.
Retention and security
Information is retained for as long as needed for the purpose for which it is used, including account operation, bookings, financial records, support, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and applicable legal obligations. A request to delete an account may not remove records that must be kept for those purposes. Backups and logs may retain information beyond removal from an active account. We use safeguards intended to protect information, but no internet service can promise perfect security.
Your requests and choices
You can update available account fields through account settings or contact us for assistance. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your information, and ask about other rights that apply where you live. We may need to verify identity and authority before acting. We will address requests in accordance with applicable law and explain relevant limitations. If browser or account controls do not resolve a privacy concern, email the privacy contact above.
Children and international visitors
The website is intended for people able to manage marketplace accounts and bookings, not for children to create independent accounts. An adult arranging a minor’s participation should provide only information needed for that activity and confirm the provider’s requirements. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information inappropriately. Our current listing focus is the United States; information may be handled by service providers in locations other than your own.
Changes to this notice
